Question about the HIGH PRIESTESS tarot card meaning?
What can this card mean regarding a man’s first impression of a woman? Or what he thinks of her the first time he sees her.

thank you!

Suggestion by Daughter of Metis
He sees her as out of his league. Probably a little intimidating. He sees her as someone mysterious and beautiful.

Upon first learning this card I learned it as (Spiritual – Teacher – Friend – Secrets) so I think those are good interpretations for your question.

Also based on various books around my house on the subject….

“The card describes a person who is in touch with reality, who goes with the flow, or who simply knows without knowing.” ~R.T. Kaser

“Queen of the underworld, daughter of the Earth Mother Demeter and guardian of the secrets of the dead.” “…is a seductive and fascinating figure who does not speak of her secrets.” ~Juliet Sharman-Burke and Liz Greene

Upright: Feminine, Unknown Woman, the Unknown, Secrets, Confidant, Mystery….. Reversed: Feminist, Gossip, False, Deceitful, Disloyal, Faithless ~Dorothy Kelly

Just a side note, I do not personally read cards in a way which reversed meanings are relevant and I would go with the positive meanings. I was just being fair to the book I pulled it from.

Tarot Card meaning for ten of swords reversed.?
I recently did a one card tarot spread on a relationship and the ten of swords came up as the answer card and it was in the reverse position.

I don’t know how to interpret the meaning of this card. Can anyone offer any insight? Thanks!! :-)

perhaps the answer is that you are resisting the knowledge that the relationship is over and you need to move on

Chariot tarot card meaning question?
I’ve been trying to interpret the meaning of the Chariot card for a question I asked. I had asked if a best friend I have strong feelings for and I would end up in a relationship. I’ve asked the question a few times and always draw the Chariot card to that question. Could someone give me their interpretation of what that means? Thanks in advance!

If you are a believer in christ dont mess with that crap

It represents conflicting thoughts and emotions and the initial moment when you decide whether to move forward or not. It also represents a chance at victory if you decide to harness your will and intent toward that goal.

I feel this this card is telling you that your mind is in a state of struggle with contradictions, conflicting feelings and thoughts. You are being pulled in two directions and you need to learn to be in charge of life rather than life being in charge of you. With clear thinking and a sense of purpose you can overcome obstacles but also exercise control in which ever direction you choose to go.
Doesn’t really give you an answer to your question though – just gives you advice and guidance on how to proceed. The outcome is up to you.

When asking a question, you should use 3 – 5 cards. One card often will not give you enough perspective.

Try that first and then if you still have trouble, ask here again.

Swords in general represent conflict or change, so the 10 would be the full impact of that. It sometimes implies an irreversible resolution. As for the reversed position, personally I don’t use reversals, so you’d have to apply whatever meaning you usually apply to reversals.

Fear of ruin, to such a point that emotional relationship/finances will not work out), ego-hang up, end of problem. Self-pity, doubt, betrayal, mistrust. If next to Ace of Swords, limitations are coming up. Hysteria, it would only take one knife to kill a man, yet this person has ten swords in him, even in his ear.

    Divinatory meaning
Upright – Ruin, desolation, disruption, although generally this refers to a group rather than an individual. Sorrow, sudden misfortune, accidents, muggings or personal robbery. There is some cause for optimism; as the lowest point in the cycle, from now on things can only get better the worst is over.

Ill Dignified or Reversed – Only an illusionary lifting of burdens or release from afflictions as suffering will continue. Sometimes death and violent and extreme change. Only temporary good fortune.
